After the famous hunt for Higgs, the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) left us, hungry physicists, with tons of data.
Top quarks, the heaviest particles of the Standard Model, are the new prey.

The University of Ghent is present at CERN for detecting the extraordinary event of ‘single top quark production’. This winter, they did the impossible, with the use of Machine Learning. Professor Didar Dobur (UGent) will first explain the major achievements of LHC and then she will dive into the quest for single top quark production.
